The free version of Elementor does not include the Form widget. The Form widget, along with its email notification action, is a feature of Elementor Pro. If you are on the free version, you would need to add a separate WordPress form plugin such as WPForms or Contact Form 7 to get form notifications.
Elementor’s Email notification action fires as soon as the form is submitted, and Dash Dolphin converts that email into an SMS in 5 seconds. Delivery is consistent as long as your WordPress site’s email sending is properly configured, ideally through an SMTP plugin for reliable delivery.
No. Dash Dolphin receives only the notification email that Elementor sends. It has no plugin, no WordPress login, and no database access. Your Elementor form entries, stored in the Elementor submissions panel, are separate and unaffected.
Yes. Elementor Pro’s Form widget supports conditional logic, including conditional email actions. You can set the Email action to fire only when specific conditions are met, such as a particular service type being selected. Only those notifications will reach Dash Dolphin, so you will only get SMS alerts for the submissions that match.
The smart summary is a short version of the form submission, condensed to fit a text message. For a typical service inquiry form it might read: “Roof leak, needs inspection this week, Oak Park. Call: 312-555-0144.” It includes the most important details from the fields the visitor filled out.
